Polk State College EMS Program

Welcome to the Polk State College Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program

              

 

We offer a full line of classes in the EMS field.

• First Responder
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Paramedic (EMT-P)

 

Our program is fully accredited and allows for graduation with an AS / AAS degree in Emergency Services from Polk State College.

Current and prospective students can find answers to frequently asked questions, a calendar of events, the current ridebook with up to the minute changes, as well as a wealth of other  information.

 

 We also offer continuing education classes for all medical fields.

   

 

• American Heart Association Courses (AHA CPR, ACLS, PALS)
• University of Miami Courses by the Miller School of Medicine (ACS, Stroke, Emergency Response to Terrorism)
• Pre-Hosptial Traumatic Life Support (PHTLS)
